Cemplas operatives and Management attending a Ronacrete product demonstration.The Cemplas policy of ensuring continued professional development for their staff was further enhanced by Ronacrete Ltd arranging a training day to ensure Cemplas were fully conversant with the new regulations for Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems by providing a Technical and practical demonstration of their Ronadeck products.

There are two distinct types of resin surfacing for hard landscaping, Resin Bonded and Resin Bound. Resin bonded aggregate surfacing is used for two distinct applications, decorative Landscaping to create footpaths, pathways and drive on surfaces which are decorative and functional, seamless and with slight flexibility, and to provide slip Resistant Floor Surfacing surfaces for foot and industrial traffic in factories, warehouses, loading bays, steps and ramps.

Until recently planning regulations have encouraged channeling rainwater into underground pipes to a suitable stream, lake or river. Planning regulations now require hard paving and landscaping to conform to the SuDS requirements (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) for dealing with drainage in a sustainable manner, using technologies that minimize the environmental impact of our lifestyles, buildings, structures and surfaces, and the Ronadeck Resin Bound Surfacing laid onto a permeable base will satisfy these requirements.

Resapol Corporate Clay Shooting Day.

Resapol, the main distributor of specialist construction materials to Cemplas, invited Cemplas to put aside work for a day, and arranged a comprehensive range of Clay Pigeon shooting at the West Kent Shooting School.

Set on a15 acre partially wooded range, the days shooting was attended by the Directors and Managment of both companies and consisted of 2 rounds of a 40 bird sporting layout, ending in a 3 man team flush. Despite the fact the day was very cold, and many from both Cemplas and Resapol had never been anywhere near a shotgun previously, the day was a complete success, and everyone attending enjoyed a great day out. Cemplas would like to express our thanks to Resapol, and look forward to our mutual companies working together on future projects where they supply the specialist products used by the Waterproofing and Concrete repairs divisions of Cemplas.
